How to use the site

Using the PuzzleZilla website is incredibly easy and enjoyable.

By using the site's navigation, you can easily find a suitable image through the category menu or search. If you can't find anything, you also have the option to upload your own image.

With the settings menu, you can customize the game mode to your liking, choose the difficulty level, and puzzle size. To increase the challenge, you can also enable puzzle rotation (this feature is not available in all game modes).

Clicking the "Play Puzzle" button will take you to the corresponding page.

In the top left corner, you will find the settings menu, where you can change the necessary options or go back at any time.

In the bottom left corner, there is a hints menu that you can use if you need assistance while solving the puzzle.

In the bottom right corner, there is a visibility menu that allows you to hide side or central elements and shuffle puzzles (this feature is also not available in all game modes).

In the top right corner, you will find the save/load menu. During the game, you have 5 slots to save your progress. If you are logged in to the website, all your saves are associated with your profile and are accessible from any device in the "Profile -> My Saves" section here. If you are not logged in, saves are tied to your browser.

In the center at the top, there is a timer that displays the elapsed time.

For each completed puzzle, you earn points that you can use to upload your own images. The higher the difficulty settings and the faster you complete the puzzle, the more points you will earn. By solving puzzles, you also earn achievements. You start at the first level - "Beginner" but can try to reach the 31st level. Players with the highest number of points are featured in the top section on the "Rating" page.
